Conference Programme - ESTTP-Workshop at estec2007


The European Solar Thermal Technology Platform, ESTTP, was launched in May 2006 and solar thermal experts from across Europe kicked off their work on the platform at a December 2006 meeting in Brussels. The goal is to develop a detailed solar thermal vision for the year 2030, a strategic research agenda to achieve this vision and a strategy for the development of solar thermal markets all over Europe.

3 focus groups and 12 working groups were founded to tackle this task. The preliminary results of focus groups 1 and 2 will be presented and discussed at this workshop.

With the work of the platform underway, a detailed solar thermal vision for 2030 and a strategic research agenda will be finalized and published in November 2007. Participation in the workshop is free and open to all interested persons.
